When you begin a website, your goal is to see your website on the first page of search engines. Being on the first page of the Search engine result pages (SERP) brings traffic, customers, and profits. But, achieving this goal is not a simple thing.  Search engines have spotted in their research that, websites with long-tail keywords are less than those who have used short-tail keywords. Now, this proves that long-tail keywords have less competition, this gives better chances of ranking on the first pages.

2) Traffic 

Bringing a lot of traffic to your website is essential. But, general traffic and short tail keywords do not help a lot to bring massive traffic. So you don’t need them to put separately.

DA is vital for Search engines. When your website starts getting traffic, the search engine begins to recognize your website for specific content. It helps to build DA for a website. Now, longtail keywords are mainly focused on a specific niche. From the above example of a crafting website, every longtail keywords on different crafts would include “How to craft.” This overall strategy helps in building DA over time.

6) Perfect for PPC( Pay per click) 

If you are planning to run a PPC campaign on your website, it’s essential to know what kind of audience you want. Usually, PPC is run to bring more traffic and making conversion rates better. Here long-tail keywords help to bring more targeted audiences, who are ready to buy your products and services soon. If the website is getting generic traffic, the conversion rate will go low, making the PPC campaign ineffective.
